The slums of Napoli needs a new chance

Scampia is what this neighbourhood is called, and it has been regarded as the international affairs of drugs and trafficking in Europe for a whole century. There is also this series and book called Gamorrah which really explains the unfortunate reality of the people in Napoli.

La Vele Verde is a housing block, made up of 4 concrete buildings, brutalist architecture truly beautiful in essence. The well known Architect of this block has been criticized for his design and accused of creating a concrete jungle that accommodates drug dealing.

After having examining his designs, I tried to come up with a new proposal that give another chance to its inhabitants and the neighbourhoods.. Just as the writer Davide Cerullo changes his gun to a camera, I thought maybe the inhabitants of Scampia can change drugs to vegetables.
