THE MISTRESS

“A prominent criminal defense lawyer visits his mistress before work, only to discover he is in greater danger than the clients he represents.”

This short film is my first experience as a Production Designer. I had the most fun time planning and prepping for this colourful film. We were based in this beautiful North London villa and I really wanted to uplift the warmth of a family by using lots of plants and wooden elements with lots of fabric. I used red and black colours of accents and really pleased with the results. This film has been on screening on British Urban Film Festival (BUFF), World Cinema Festival in the SHORT AND SWEET collection of short films and the Caribbean International Film Festival in Birmingham.
